                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 7300,
                   7302, AND 7304 JARNIGAN ROAD, AND 1913
                   GUNBARREL ROAD, BEING ON THE SOUTHWEST LINE OF
                   JARNIGAN ROAD NORTHWEST OF GUNBARREL ROAD, AND
                   ON THE NORTHWEST LINE OF GUNBARREL ROAD AT
                   JARNIGAN ROAD, FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4
                   SPECIAL ZONE AND C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL
                   ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 7300, 7302, and 7304
                Jarnigan Road, and 1913 Gunbarrel Road, being on
                the southwest line of Jarnigan Road northwest of
                Gunbarrel Road, and on the northwest line of
                Gunbarrel Road at Jarnigan Road. 
               
                To be zoned R-4: Lots 5A, 5B, and 5C, Resubdivision
                of the north half of Lot 5, the Frank Kelly Tract,
                as shown by plat of record in plat book 22, page
                29, ROHC; being the properties described in deed
                book 1886, page 167, ROHC, deed book 4735, page
                451, ROHC, and deed book 4528, page 427, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 148M-H-11, 12, and 13.

                To be zoned C-2:  Lot 3, Subdivision of the Frank
                Kelly Tract, as shown by plat of record in plat
                book 14, page 35, ROHC; being the property
                described in deed book 4128, page 527, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 148M-H-14.
               
               
         from R-l Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone and C-2 
Convenience
         Commercial Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
              1.   Growth Corridor Standards;
             
              2.   Dedication of right-of-way, as determined by the City 

                   Engineer;
             
              3.   Access control limited to a maximum of two driveways 
for
                   Gunbarrel Road and Jarnigan Road subject to approval 
by
                   the City Traffic Engineer; and
        
              4.   All existing easements are retained.
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
